The popularity of our NEW tubing trip has exploded! Our guests have continually requested tubing on Saturday’s and we’ve listened. Starting now we are open 7 days a week for Lazy River Tubing. This trip is perfect for anyone over the ages of 3+.

After a long year of hard work from all our trail staff and volunteers, we are ready to host our first ever Enduro Race at the Wilderness Tours Bike Park.
One August 26th, Wilderness Tours will host a 6 staged event. 3 stages in the morning, 3 in the afternoon. Wide range of categories available.

We are open again with our Lazy River Tubing Ride! After a little hiatus with COVid we have a new and improved tubing program at Wilderness Tours. Now your tube trip covers 3 kms of “Heaven’s Half Mile” and ends right at our resort.
This program is perfect for kids ages 3+. Combine this trip with lunch or dinner at the resort after a perfect float down the Ottawa River. This section of river is home to Eagles, Osprey, Heron, Beaver, Turtles, Deer and much more. So keep your eyes pealed on your trip you just never know what you’re going to see.
“Mother Nature wasn’t very cooperative this spring with a very late winter. Our trail crews pushed through and cleared a considerable amount of debris from April’s ice storm.
We’ve been very busy since last fall cutting many new trails. “Air Bud”, “Haystack & “Dragon Finger” all should be ready early July. For full details on trail status please check www.trailforks.com for the most up to date details on conditions and trail closures.
We have some big plans for 2023 as you can see we have another 12 km of planned and mapped trails we are working on. So don’t forget your bike at home when you come to Wilderness Tours this summer.
Spring is here on the Ottawa River an Wilderness Tours is open for rafting season number 48. As we creep closer to our 50th anniversary we have a lot to be thankful for.
Our staff have been busy adding new features to the resort for this season. Our returning guests will be pleasantly surprised with all of the new offers for this coming season. New additions to the mountain bike trails, lazy river tubing is back as well as other resort improvements we are excited to share with our guests this year.

Summer 2022 is officially a wrap! For those of your who visited us in 2022, we thank you for choosing Wilderness Tours. Our staff love sharing the “magic found in whitewater”, we hope you loved the experience. We are looking forward to seeing again soon on the river.

The weather couldn’t stop the high flying action on the Garberator this past week for the 2023 Canadian National Team Trials. The level of competition for the top spots was intense.
Canoe Kayak Canada will announce the official final Canadian Team before September 7th. For full selection criteria please refer to the CKC website here.
After two days of competition the 2022 Canada Cup Results Summary are as follows:
Canadian National Freestyle Team Trails are back on the Ottawa. We are working with Hydro Quebec as well as Ontario Power Generation to aim for levels for Garburator.
Please note to compete and be eligible for the Canadian National Team Trials you must be a member of your Provincial Sport Organization as well as paid your 2022 Canoe Kayak Canada Competition Fees.
