Events like the Canada Cup are similar to family reunions. There are opportunities to continue developing friendships, to make lasting memories, and to be reminded how special the paddling community truly is.

For this reason, the Ottawa Kayak School is moving the Canada Cup freestyle event from Friday, August 30th, to Sunday, August 18th, 2024 to ensure that the freestyle community can attend, recreate, and compete in this event.

New for this year on Monday, August 19th, 2024 a Le Mans mass-start race from above the Lorne Rapid down the main channel to the beachfront at Wilderness Tours Resort.
