For years, paddlers have been asking for a fun, accessible freestyle competition on the Ottawa River, a chance to test their skills, gain competition experience, and enjoy a great day on the water without the pressure of a major event.

By popular demand from the paddling community, the Push Button Rodeo is now a reality.

This grassroots freestyle competition is open to paddlers of all abilities and will be scored using standard ICF freestyle rules. Whether you’re entering your first event, chasing a personal best, or simply looking for an excuse to spend a day surfing with friends, the Push Button Rodeo is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and competitive.

Join us as we celebrate freestyle kayaking on one of the world’s premier freestyle waves. Expect big moves, good vibes, and a great community atmosphere both on and off the water.
