Fall Mountain Bike Trail Access

The rafting season maybe over but our bike trails are still open!  We’ve been blowing the trails weekly before the weekend to ensure they are in clear as the leaves continue to fall. 

Day Passes & waivers are mandatory for all visitors.  They can be purchased and completed online here.

Fall Accommodation Rental Deal

Looking for for a mini getaway and explore the  trail system in the area? We still have thee of our accommodation units available for fall rental. Trail passes included with all accommodation or camping rentals.

Note: waivers required for all guests on site as well as those who use trail system. 

Accommodation Options

The Cottage Main is one of our 4 season units, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and with a kitchenette.  It  sleeps up to 8 people.  Need more space add the Cottage Loft and you get an accommodation unit that sleeps 12.

London House.  This home is rentable as one whole unit or in 3 separate sections depending on group size.

Manor Main is our largest until that sleeps a maximum of 12 people when you book both sections.

Camping Options

Looking to camp? We have two options for biking and camping.  

Riverside Camping is located right on the water’s edge at the end of Air Bud. This camping location has potable water as well as washroom services.

Paddler’s Haven Camping is located right next to the skills area at the top of the bike park.   This is also at the entrance of the the kessel run river runner section.  

RV Options

Have an RV or Van? Yes, we an accommodate you.

Paddler’s Haven RV Sites we have non serviced rv sites available.  Centrally located next to the skills area at the top of the bike park.   This is also at the entrance of the the kessel run river runner section.

2024 Ottawa River Enduro Mountain bike Race is in the history books .   We want to thank all the competitors that came out to the event who travelled near and far to support the Wilderness Tours Bike Park.

A massive shout out to the trail crew and event day volunteers whom took time out of their schedule to ensure a safe an fun course on race day.  The dig crew was working hard to ensure all the runs were race day ready including a new mystery stage.

We are looking forward to 2025 with new stages and hopefully we’ll see everyone out again next year.  Once again thank you to all our sponsors.

In 1974, Wilderness Tours Founder/President Joe Kowalski had a life changing decision to make. In his last year of a 4 year military obligation Joe had been promoted to Captain. With a desire to start Wilderness Tours after his army duty, his new found promotion and a promising military career gave Joe pause. In 1975 after much internal discourse, Joe decided to chase the dream of starting Wilderness Tours.

Through hard work and perseverance, Wilderness Tours became Canada’s top Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking company and with prestige comes opportunity. This came in the form of military units from all over Canada and the United Kingdom seeking out Wilderness Tours as a training location. Now, in 2024, Wilderness Tours offers training programs ranging from 1 day to several weeks.

It’s been a wild spring with the weather we’ve been having, but our crews have been out building, cleaning, clearing and getting ready for the 2024 season.  The rains the last few weeks haven’t helped but we’ll be ready for opening Friday, April 26th!

 

We have two new gravity trails. Ender (Blue) 734 meters long and drops 44 meters and “Window Shade” (green) 1.2 km long and drops 58 meters.  New climb trail is ready for tires, also called “The Eddy” as well as a few other additions for opening weekend.

 

New for 2024 is our new skills area. We have 3 new drops and 4 tabletops.  This area is expanding every week, so keep checking our socials as well as Trail Forks for updates.

Season Pass Sale

Help support the trails by picking up your discounted season pass until April 30th.  Only $75 $50 for the entire season for individuals and $25 $15 for groms (ages 5-12).  Family max passes for families with 4 or or members are $175 $120.

 

Day pass rates for 2024 are $15 / adult and $5 for our little shredders ages (5-12).  Every dollar goes back into the trail system for new trails.
